What you'll learn in this clay class:

Learn the basics of working with polymer clay while exploring buttons in many shapes and sizes, with holes, and without. We'll explore ways to incorporate buttons into mixed media pieces, and in more typical fashion, as closures for bags, shawls, and clothing. We will make a mold of a button, and use this to create multiples. If you have a button(s) that you want to use as a mold, bring that along too.

Susan will provide a variety of cutters, things to make holes with, and items to texture the clay for your use while in class. We will bake as many buttons as possible while in class (please bring a box or tray to carry home your creations). The class is perfect for people new to polymer clay, and those more experienced too.

Your registration fee of $53 includes a $5 materials fee.
