Abstract Landscapes Workshop

Together, you'll explore how to integrate abstract artistic language with traditional landscape painting through varied drawing and painting exercises, followed by extended studio time where you can further develop your creative exploration in a more finished artwork, applying everything you've discovered throughout the course.

Materials and Supplies You'll Need:

• Complete painting supply kit, including all your working materials
• Drawing materials you currently have available
• Fiber paste or heavy body gel medium for creating surface texture and dimension
• Glaze medium for transparent color application
• Color shapers and/or silicone sculpting tools for texture application
• Palette knives in assorted sizes and shapes for mixing and application
• Two medium-sized canvases, with 24-inch square dimensions considered ideal
• Rags or Blue Shop towels for cleanup and texture effects
