Class Description

Description

Propel your initiatives and strategic goals forward by leveraging proven approaches and best practices for guiding and motivating others.

If you find yourself in a leadership position where other leaders report to you, you occupy a critical strategic position within your organization. Leaders in your situation serve as "the central gear" within the organizational machinery, facing the essential responsibility of achieving objectives and results through the efforts of others. This typically happens by directing other leaders who are part of your team, by exerting influence on the senior executives to whom you report, and by building and leveraging your network of peer leaders both inside and outside your organization.

You are also accountable for significant organizational efforts, including contributing to the development of organizational strategic direction, building robust networks to advance key initiatives, shaping the organizational culture, and managing many other critical responsibilities. However, if you are unable to effectively achieve results through others, many of these responsibilities and accountabilities become significantly more challenging.

Participate in this program to examine the specific challenges you face, review evidence-based best practices, explore proven methods, and strategic approaches that can help you accomplish work more effectively through the leaders who report to you. Upon completion, you will have created a comprehensive 360-degree working plan to advance your goals and strategic initiatives by leading other leaders with substantially improved effectiveness and measurable impact.
