I loved the class I took. Lou, the instructor, was patient, helpful, and just super fun to be around. The folks in the class were all kind. And I learned lots about the fundamentals of wheel throwing! Would absolutely take another class here in the future.

The weekly sequence introduces the studio and cup making, develops wheel-throwing and bowl shaping, then moves through trimming, a plate demonstration, measuring and firing, and final glazing and shelf cleanup.

Basic studio tools are available for shared use. Students may bring their own tools. Clay and firing fees are not included in tuition and must be purchased separately. Unlimited open studio time and a private shelf for works in progress and tools are included for the duration of the course.
