This intermediate Spanish course is designed for learners who have already established a solid understanding of the present tense for regular verbs but wish to deepen their grammatical knowledge and communicative abilities. The curriculum focuses on mastering irregular verb conjugations, understanding and applying the near future tense construction, and substantially improving your conversational fluency through practical application. If you are ready to move beyond basic regular verbs and tackle more complex grammatical structures while simultaneously building confidence in real-world Spanish conversations, this level provides the ideal progression in your language studies.

Class Structure and Learning Approach:

Group classes convene once each week for a session lasting one hour and thirty minutes. Our instructional methodology combines two distinct but complementary approaches. We utilize systematic instruction emphasizing formal grammar instruction and the fundamental structural mechanics of the Spanish language, integrated with an interactive, communicative teaching style that focuses on authentic situations and scenarios designed to encourage active dialogue and meaningful communication among all class participants. This dual approach simultaneously strengthens grammatical foundations while promoting vocabulary expansion and building genuine conversational confidence. Our group classes place primary emphasis on developing and practicing active speaking skills in Spanish.
